One of the best tools to start working from home is Build a Niche Store (Bans) or PHPBay. With Bans you can attach a Ebay affiliate store to your site or only have the Ebay affiliate store as your site. With PHPBay you can display Ebay auctions on your blog, for example in your blog posts. Every time somebody buys a product through your site on Ebay, you will get the commission for it, but the real money is in the new active user sign ups (ACRU).

As Ebay Partner Network explains:

ACRU: An end user (a) registers on the Participating Sites and Content for the first time within 30 days of clicking on a Link (b) confirms his or her registration and (c) visits Participating Sites and Content and places a bid or BIN to purchase an item within 30 days of the original registration.

Based on the quality of your ACRU's you will get paid between $1 and $50 per new user (for the US program that is). Most of you would think that everybody already has an Ebay account, well that is not the case at all. There will always be first time sign ups. Young kids grow old and what do they want? Yes buy stuff on Ebay!

So the first thing you would want to do is sign up for an Ebay Partner Network (EPN) account. It is free and necessary for both Bans and PHPbay. You can find the EPN at www.ebaypartnernetwork.com. Apply for every single program they have, it could be to some use in the future when you don't want to target only US but also the UK or any other country the programs are available for. Next time we will get into finding good hosting for your niche stores and setting up your first niche store in Working From Home With Ebay part II.
